Fortis Aqua 1500L above-ground rainwater tank.

Fortis Aqua series tanks are the perfect solution for storing rainwater. The black color provides hot water without using electricity. A compact and durable design is key to trouble-free operation. The tank can also be equipped with an internal automatic submersible pump with a tap, or an external pump. These pumps significantly speed up emptying and generate additional pressure, which is crucial when, for example, watering an area remote from the tank.

The tank is equipped with a 16″ cover that serves as an inspection hatch.

The tank is equipped with a 4″ cover that acts as a vent.

There are handles at the top of the tank to enable it to be placed or transported.

An emergency overflow and a venting system are essential for the proper operation of the tank, which is why the tank is additionally equipped with a 4″ lid, which also serves as a vent.

At the bottom of the tank there is a 2″ ball drain valve which is used to empty the tank.

Installation of pump systems in the tank is permitted provided the manufacturer’s guidelines are followed.

You can install the tank yourself. It’s important that the tank is located on a level, paved surface, as close to the gutter as possible. Multiple tanks can be combined to form larger retention systems.

The connection should be made at the level of the drain connectors using a soft hose.
