METRIA EKO NC 4000 L domestic wastewater treatment plant with tunnels

METRIA EKO NC domestic eco-friendly wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4000 L, designed for a family of 5–8 people.

The tanks are available as single-, two-, or three-chamber units. A higher number of chambers in the tank increases wastewater treatment efficiency, which in turn extends the overall system’s lifespan.

A domestic wastewater treatment plant is used for treating household sewage in areas without a sewer system and is an ideal alternative to a traditional cesspool.

The tank is made of high-quality PHED material using the rotational molding (rotomolding) method, which ensures high quality and compressive strength, and allows the tank to be installed at a depth greater than the standard (1.2 m below ground level).

The tank has two chimneys: one is used for emptying the tank, while the other contains a filter basket designed to retain suspended solids and sludge before they enter the drainage system.

Wastewater treatment occurs through sedimentation (settling of particles heavier than water) and flotation (rising of lighter particles to the surface). The partially treated wastewater then flows by gravity through a filter basket located in the tank at the outlet to the drainage system, where a natural aerobic process takes place, breaking down contaminants with the help of bacteria.
