Mini grease traps are used wherever wastewater contains more grease than typical domestic wastewater.

The device should be installed immediately downstream from the point of wastewater generation:

– under the sink

– behind the dishwasher

Examples of separator applications include: hotels, restaurants, bars, mass catering facilities, fish processing plants, etc.

Heavily greasy wastewater should not be discharged directly into sewage systems.

Fat has a negative impact on the environment and causes a number of operational problems. These problems arise from the fact that fat is not water-soluble, but exists in the form of sticky lumps that are difficult to break down. Fat lumps settle in sewage pipes, causing “overgrowth” and, as a result of decomposition processes, unpleasant odors, corrosion of equipment, and clogging of pipes.
