A pumping station or multiple pumping stations allow for the transport of sewage over any distance. A pumping station consists of a collection tank into which the sewage is discharged and an automatic pump that pumps the sewage further to the collection station, overcoming the required level difference.
The pumping station tank is designed to collect and hold sewage until the pump is activated (controlling the sewage level in the tank). Pumping stations can be installed before or after a septic tank or biological treatment plant.
Pumping station tanks are manufactured using rotational molding from PE. This rotational molding process creates monolithic tanks, ensuring they are leak-proof and prevent sewage from leaking into the ground.
