The ASR treatment plant is a modern, patented solution for those who value convenience and simple design. The R20 model, with a capacity of 10,000L, is designed for 14 to 20 household members. The first tank is the primary settling tank, while the second is the working chamber, which functions as a biological reactor and secondary settling tank (depending on the phase of the treatment cycle). The ASR treatment plant utilizes innovative technology to reduce scum in the primary settling tank, making it odorless while maintaining the full functionality of traditional designs. Furthermore, the operating cycle has been completely redesigned to fit the current pace of life and user habits. Another new feature is the emergency overflow system with a biological filter, which operates in two ways: the submerged biological filter supports biological wastewater treatment processes and acts as a filter to retain contaminants in the event of a plant failure.
Raw sewage flows through a DN160 PVC pipe from the house to the treatment plant. When the treatment cycle begins, the raw sewage mixes with the sewage already treated in the previous cycle. The mixing phase is achieved through a patented blanket spraying and tank refreshment system, operated by an air-powered airlift pump located in the working chamber. The rising level in the settling tank forces a gravity flow of the raw and treated sewage mixture into the biological reactor. After the mixing phase, the sewage is intensively aerated in the working chamber. This provides aerobic bacteria with optimal growth conditions. Activated sludge is formed – a floc-like suspension of bacteria capable of treating wastewater – and bacteria multiply on the surface of the biological filter – the so-called biofilm. Throughout the treatment cycle, the wastewater is mixed and aerated several times. After 22 hours, we move on to the penultimate stage of the process. A long sedimentation process, occurring during the night, allows the treated wastewater to settle. Activated sludge settles to the bottom. Finally, the treated wastewater is pumped to the receiving end via a float pump. A modern controller, expandable with a Wi-Fi module, oversees the entire process. The treatment plant meets the most stringent standards, allowing wastewater to be discharged into both the ground and surface waters.
The ActivSolid-R treatment plant is equipped with a float pump as standard. This solution allows for considerable flexibility in the management of treated wastewater.
ASR treatment plants are characterized by an exceptionally solid and well-thought-out design. The durable, heavy, and densely ribbed polyethylene tank structure guarantees high durability, which is why the manufacturer provides a 15-year warranty.
