Raw sewage flows into a settling tank, which traps solids that accumulate at the bottom of the tank as sludge. The sewage then flows through a special siphon into the first biological reactor, where microorganisms known as activated sludge develop and purify the sewage.
In the first reactor, which is always full (never emptied), the sewage is pre-treated. It also functions as a retention tank, which significantly increases the treatment plant’s resistance to uneven wastewater inflow and ensures proper operation with varying pollutant loads.
From the first reactor, wastewater flows by gravity into the second, where it is further treated. Twice daily, the treated wastewater is pumped from the second reactor to the receiving tank. The second reactor is equipped with a unique excess activated sludge recirculation system, which can be returned to the settling tank or the first reactor as needed.
Advantages of the Bio Solid treatment plant
The design of the Bio Solid treatment plant also allows for precise regulation of the amount of oxygen supplied to biological reactors, enabling the adjustment of individual parameters of the wastewater treatment process.
The Bio Solid treatment plant is equipped with a mechanical pump as standard. This solution gives us great flexibility in terms of how treated wastewater is discharged and managed.
The pump allows the receiver to be built at any distance from the device.
Treated wastewater from the Bio Solid treatment plant can be discharged, for example, into drainage, an absorption well, or a pond. The excellent quality of the treated wastewater also allows it to be discharged into watercourses, rivers, streams, and drainage ditches.
Another way to manage wastewater is to build a subsurface plant irrigation system.
Line irrigation combined with the Bio Solid treatment plant offers double benefits.
We perfectly purify wastewater and at the same time water plants with water rich in microelements.

Bio Solid treatment plants are characterized by an extremely robust and well-designed construction. The durable, heavy, and densely ribbed polyethylene tank construction guarantees high strength, thanks to which the manufacturer provides a 15-year warranty.
Modular tanks with a vertical structure are excellent at carrying heavy loads, which avoids the need for concrete backfill, and the special shape of the tank ensures proper anchoring in the ground.
The possibility of installing the treatment plant at a great depth (up to 1.2 m below ground) largely avoids the need to use expensive pumping stations for raw sewage.
All these features make the Bio Solid biological treatment plant a unique product on the Polish market, and the manufacturer guarantees its proper functioning in all water and soil conditions.
