The Bio Duo-Hybrid treatment plant is intended for the treatment of domestic and municipal wastewater and can operate in all soil and groundwater conditions. It is an ideal alternative to a traditional cesspool for households that do not have access to a sewage system.
This is a mechanical-biological wastewater treatment plant. The technology is based on hybrid wastewater treatment, which ensures a high level of pollutant reduction in compliance with the PN-EN 12566-3:2005 + A2:2013 standard and CE marking. The tanks are manufactured from high-quality PEHD material using the rotomoulding method (a plastic forming technique in which the mould is divided into two or more parts, filled with plastic powder or granulate, then placed in an oven where the powder melts, and thanks to the rotating mould, a monolithic tank is obtained).

The treatment plant uses two independent biological zones. In each zone, low-load activated sludge (aerobic bacteria grouped in so-called flocs) forms a suspension engaged in the wastewater treatment process. The entire process is supported by a fluidized biological bed made of specially designed PE elements, on which microorganisms responsible for aerobic wastewater treatment develop.
Bio DUO-Hybrid is a four-chamber treatment plant, with two independent aeration zones and a sludge recirculation system, ensuring a high level of pollutant reduction. The combination of low-load activated sludge technology (bacteria grouped in so-called activated sludge flocs) with a submerged biological bed growing on specially designed PE elements guarantees stable operation of the device. At the bottom of both bioreactors, tubular membrane diffusers are installed, into which air is supplied by the blower. The diffuser arrangement and the amount of air supplied ensure optimal mixing and oxygenation of the wastewater and biofilm, providing excellent process conditions inside the reactors.
